Tile & Grout Cleaning in Houston, TX
From bungalows in The Heights to newer builds out past the Energy Corridor, Houston floors share one trouble spot. The tile is fine. It's the grout lines soaking up years of Gulf Coast soil.
Houston's a huge spread of housing, from century-old bungalows in The Heights to fresh construction near Memorial and the Energy Corridor. What they all have in common is grout that's gone gray. The tile itself usually looks fine. Grout is porous, so it pulls in every bit of tracked-in grit, and in this humidity it holds onto it. No mop reaches down into those pores.
We clean it with a rotary floor machine that scrubs a cleaning solution straight into the grout, loosens the soil, then rinses and mops the dirty water off. Mopping alone just moves that water around and drives soil deeper, which is why floors look dull again right after. Where the original grout color has truly worn away, we can restore it so the lines match across the floor.
We serve Houston and the whole metro around it, from Katy and Cypress to Sugar Land, Pearland, The Woodlands, Spring, Humble, and Kingwood. Every job carries our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
Grout that grays in the older Heights and Montrose homes
In the older bungalows around The Heights and Montrose, decades of soil have worked into the grout and the lines can look almost black even when the tile is intact. We scrub that soil out of the pores with the machine, and a lot of the time the grout comes up shades lighter than the owner expected.
Shower and bath grout in the Gulf Coast damp
Houston humidity keeps bathroom grout dark, especially along the floor lines and shower corners. We drive the solution into those joints with the buffer and rinse them clean, no harsh acid wash that eats at the surface over time.
High-traffic entries in River Oaks and Memorial
Front-door and hallway tile in the bigger homes around River Oaks, Tanglewood, and Memorial takes a lot of foot traffic and tracked-in grit. We work the soil out of the grout at the entries so the whole floor reads clean instead of dingy near the door.
Bellaire and West University stone, cleaned without acid
Natural stone shows up in plenty of Houston homes, from Bellaire to West University. Stone can't take aggressive acid, so we clean marble and travertine with the buffer and a milder solution that lifts soil without etching or dulling the surface.

Tile & grout questions from Houston homeowners
My grout is almost black in spots. Is it dirt or is it ruined?
Usually it's dirt. Decades of soil pack into porous grout, especially in older Houston homes, and it looks permanent. Once we scrub it out with the rotary machine, most of that color comes back. Where it truly won't, we offer color restoration to even the lines out.
How much lighter will the grout actually get?
Two or three shades is common once the trapped soil is gone. It depends on how deep it's ground in, but most floors show a clear difference along the lines.
Do you serve the suburbs like Katy, Sugar Land, and The Woodlands?
