Tile & Grout Cleaning in Cibolo, TX

Cibolo has grown fast, and most of those new floors in the master-planned neighborhoods off FM 1103 came with light builder grout. Light grout shows every speck. That's why it already looks tired, and it's what we fix.

Cibolo's hard water is the first thing a lot of homeowners notice, right after the grout. This corner of Guadalupe County runs mineral-heavy, so along with the everyday soil you get a chalky film that settles on tile and packs into the grout lines. A mop can't touch either one.

Grout is porous and sits lower than the tile, so it holds soil the smooth surface just sheds. Mopping pushes dirty water around and lets some of it drain back into the lines. Our rotary floor machine drives a cleaning solution down into the grout, lifts the trapped dirt and film out, and then we rinse and mop the residue away.

Whether your place is a newer build near the Cibolo Valley developments or an older home closer to Main Street, the grout ages the same. Where color is genuinely gone, we restore it. Every job carries our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

New-build grout that grayed out in a year or two

So much of Cibolo went up recently, and light builder grout starts drifting darker fast once real family traffic hits it. The tile still looks new; the grout doesn't. We run the machine along each line so it comes back toward the color it was poured instead of the dull gray you've been mopping.

Hard-water film clouding kitchen and bath tile

Guadalupe County water leaves minerals behind, and over time that builds a haze on tile and a crust in the grout. It's why the floor can look filmy even when it's technically clean. We scrub that mineral buildup out of the lines and off the surface so the tile reads clear again.

Shower floors that darken along the grout

Central Texas summers keep bathrooms warm and humid, and grout at the base of the walls and along the shower floor darkens under that steady moisture. We work the buildup out of those lines so the grout looks clean rather than shadowed and gray.

If your grout looks gray or your tile stays filmy no matter how you mop, call Safe-Dry® at 726-245-5770 and we'll look at your Cibolo floors. We'll tell you honestly whether they clean up or need color restoration.

One visit, real scrubbing, and grout that looks clean again. That's the whole idea, and it's backed by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Tile & grout questions from Cibolo homeowners

My Cibolo home is only a few years old. Why is the grout already dull?

New grout is still porous, and builders around here use light colors that show soil right away. A couple of years of foot traffic plus our hard-water film is plenty to gray it out. It's usually not damaged, just loaded with soil a mop can't reach.

Our water leaves a chalky film. Can you get that off the tile too?

Yes. The mineral haze comes off with the same machine scrub we use on the grout. We work the cleaning solution across the tile and down into the lines, then rinse, so both the film and the trapped soil lift away together.

If a grout line won't scrub clean, what are my options?

Sometimes the original color is gone rather than just dirty. When that's the case we offer grout color restoration to give you an even line again. We'll tell you upfront which lines are candidates before we do anything.

Do you cover the rest of the area around Cibolo?
